can win98 do kernel level logging?

how can I use rpms?

when I use src.rpm packages, extract it from another linux machine which rpm2cpio and download it. but I guess there may be some tools like rpm2cpio so I can extract rpm files directly on my cygwin box. does not exist?? _ ¶Ç ´Ù

i set my /etc/inputrc to set meta-flag on set input-meta on set convert-meta off set output-meta on aliased ls to alias ls='/bin/ls --color=tty --show-control-chars' I can see the output now, but still have trouble in typing my mother tongue. what should do I more? OS=win98 ; MOTHER_TONGUE=kor

I found ssmtp works on command line mannually, but I guess I can join it with mutt MUA so when I want to only send a mail, I won't need any graphical mail agent. but I could not find man pages how to configure ssmtp.conf file and how to make work mutt with ssmtp.exe. where can I find sample or do
