m32\drivers\usbd.sys instead of assuming that
usbd.sys is located in the same directory as libusb0.sys.

Yes, Installed 0.1.10.1-3
failures by enabling boot logging and inspecting
c:\windows\ntbtlog.txt. All the devices show up with yellow exclamation
marks in the device manager.
I am not a windows driver expert, so for now I cannot use the Cygwin
package.

The lilypond-doc-1.6.8-1 only includes the info files, no html files.
So people trying to find the tutorial as written in the announcement will
not be able to find it.
You can also see it on the sizes:

Some more input.
Attached strace output from a successfull run with the
cygwin-1.3.14 dll.
What I can spot in the log is that when com4 is read it now
has a read timeout of 1000 (vtime=1000), while in the unsuccessfull
runs vmin was 0.
Does that ring any bells ?
Ton van Overbeek
trace-1.3.14
Looking at the strace output it seems to be hanging in
fhandler_serial::raw_read.
I also tried the 20021113 and 20021114 snapshots. Both have
the problem.
A second tracefile is attached from a run with the 20021114 snapshot.
Hope you can make some sense out of it.
Wild guess,
older versions of cygwin1.dll and everything works fine up to
version 1.3.14. So something happened between 1.3.14 and 1.3.15.
I suspect some of the recent changes to fhandler-serial.cc.
Any hints on how to debug this? snapshots to try?
Output from cygcheck -s -r -v attached.

By the way, with 1.3.13-2 'ls -lR|more' works inside rxvt, but in the
DOS box I get the described problem (more quits after one page).

Note: no install: line.
So Setup.exe still tries to download/install the binary which is not there,
hence the Download Incomplete messages.
Setup needs to accept that there are source only packages.
I guess Robert is already aware of this.
Ton van Overbeek
P.S. Why is the contents
There have been various reports over time that recursive grep is not
working on Win9x. For every directory you get a 'Permission denied'
error.
Also there have been reports that using open(2) to open a directory
readonly on Win9x fails.
Both have the same cause.
open(2) calls _open in the cygwin1
her words, if open(2) on a dir succeeds what should read(2)
on a directory do ?

Just to confirm. On my W98SE, cygwin 1.3.10 I get the same
permission error when running your test program.
It could also have something to do with FAT32 vs NTFS.

ny thing I noticed. When I run autoconf myself I do not get
the 'cyg' prefix on the dll's and libraries but 'rh'. For cygwin I believe
the prefix should remain 'cyg'. Guess that is an autotool problem.

The segment violation occurs in PickView every time you change view

This probably should be continued on cygwin-apps.
