Parallel port raw IO

Hi, I have used cygwin for years but this is my first time to use it for development. Hope someone here can give me some light on this problem. Currently, I have to make some raw I/O access to the parallel port in Windows NT/9X/XP. I want to use cygwin instead of VC++ as my development environ
