Awesome. I tried building 3.9.0 today and ran into

As a note, the following "seems" to work fine in Linux, but not Cygwin:
curl -v

Reporting it here.

As a note, after using cygwin to build some libraries (worked well,
thanks team!) when trying to delete a folder via windows explorer, I
got the message "Destination folder access denied, you need to
confirm this action" (followed by a UAC prompt) and also
"Delete folder, Invalid MS-DOS function"

Hello.
As a note, today if you run setup*.exe with -P "g++" it silently
continues, even though you've used an unnamed package. Might be nice
to kick out to the prompt if there is a package not found.

It would be awesome if the top option for servers were "auto select

Today I wanted to script an unattended install of cygwin.
It works well. However, I also wanted to be able to do it without
showing a window to the user at all.
Suggestion/feature request:
for --quiet-mode start minimized, or perhaps add a "--start-minimized" option.
Cheers.

it might be interesting/useful to have the list of "mirrors" ordered
somehow, it is a bit bewildering (at least for this user) to get this
large list of mirros to "unfamiliar" mirror sites and I think
"ok...so...which one should I pick here?"
So maybe if it could ping all of them and order by that,

nd line or what not. Perhaps setup.exe
could do the same thing. But anyway just some thoughts. Thanks for
cygwin!
