switch case.
To fix the problem, I just removed these 2 irrelevent cases in the cygwin
environment.
I hope this e-mail will help the libtool maintainer.

Hi Dave,
Can I ask you where I can find this list? I have looked on the cygwin website
before posting my question but I couldn't find any reference to such a list.
Thank you,

x27; directory completely before reinstalling cygwin. To workaround
that problem, instead of doing 'make install' I have just manually copied
cygwin1.dll and libcygwin.a from the src package to the appropriate
locations.

Hi,
I kinda isolated the weird file access problem. The corruption seems to come
from the setup.exe program as if I download manually
cygwin-1.5.24-2-src.tar.bz2, unzip and untar it manually, the permissions
for all files are ok.

you admit
that one of Cygwin design goal used to be to offer some DOS support but
that you decided to change the project direction to a purer POSIX
environment, some users will be happy, some others will be unhappy but
at least expectations will be set right.

I think this is unfair to say that he is whining the same line again and

that has changed recently?
Anyhow, thanks to Larry and Dave for your help and suggestions!
