Hi all,
After installed cygwin, I tried to delete the whole directory "cygwin",
everything can be deleted, however Cygwin.ico & Cygwin-Terminal.ico will be

Greeting to all mates. This is my first time here.

I've installed inetd as a service by /usr/sbin/inetd --install-as-service.
CYGWIN and PATH both set according to
/usr/share/doc/Cygwin/inetutils-1.3.2.README.
The inetd service can be start/stop by "net start inetd" and "net stop

But it does not listen to the ports (telnet, f

I had successfully compiled several programs with g++ under
Cygwin v1.3.20-1. But upon upgrading to Cygwin v1.5.5-1, the same
programs that are compiled with the new g++ produces the error:
"cc1plus.exe - Entry Point Not Found" - in a popup window
Inside the error window, it details:

Hi,
Today I visit www.cygwin.com and run the setup.exe as usual, and there seems
some updates.
After that, I suddenly find that when I compile file with gcc, it generates
the bin but I cannot run it.
The reason is that the file generated by gcc is -rw-rw-rw-, and I even
cannot "chmod" it(output i

too hard to read. I try to find a way to change but I found myself totally lost after
tried to change color on Properties. No matter what I did for the font color, this
