Does g++ (gcc) under Cygwin support posix threads? I have Cygwin
with gcc 2.95.3-5, and I can't find any *.h files for threads.

In looking at the list of items I can install, I see that one
of the options is "keep". What does this mean?
I would like to execute this sequence:
1 - download a complete new version;
2 - backup the complete new version;
3 - delete my old version;
4 - install the new version.

How can I get information on the template handling
capabilities of the latest versions of Cygwin? In
particular, I would like to know if I can define
methods in *.cc files that are compiled, and have
the resulting .o files added to libraries. I do
