Thanks, I suspect that it is something in our environment that is causing this.
Specifically, how do I use the strace tool in this context? Can I substitute the
'ssh' command with 'strace ssh' command?

You can update the /etc/passwd file and /etc/group file with the domain users and
groups with the following command:
cd /etc
/usr/bin/mkpasswd -l -g -d > passwd
/usr/bin/mkgroup -l -d > group
net stop sshd && net start sshd
Use 'man mkpasswd' & 'man mkgroup' for help.
