Apologies in advance if this is the wrong ML -- I've poked about a fair
amount on the Web, couldn't seem to find a match to this question.
I'm running Cygwin on WinXP, current packages. I have autoconf 2.61, gcc
and g++ 3.4.4-3, mingw-runtime 3.12-4.
I can see that C:\cygwin\usr\i686-pc-mingw32\
I deeply apologize -- I'm used to a different mail list which does
automatically screen the addresses.

I use Cygwin, latest packages across the board, on WinXP Home Edition, fully
patched.
I specifically use it to compile VLC, a cross platform video
encoder/streamer/client. VLC uses gettext, the bootstrap for it includes:
