I can't type 's'. If I escape it with Ctrl-V, then I can see it.
If I type the word "mississippi", I get "miiippi". Some folks
remember the thread on the Cygwin/X ML? That was last October.
I thought it was related to the X because I got this on xterm,

I noticed that the cvs isn't working. To be precise, "cvs update" or
"cvs checkout" doesn't update any older revisioned file. Say, I have
a local copy of a file named "source.c" of Rev. 1.11. If I do
"cvs log source.c", it shows the latest revision is now 1.16. But
"cvs update" or "cvs co" doesn't

I'm using Cygwin version 1.5.4.1 now. I did cygwin_setup on last Friday.
Before that, pressing ctrl-Z in vi had never been a problem for a long time.

Up until last week it had worked.
I'm using 1.5.4.1 now.
