xmgrace fails to start

version of the cygwin dll 1.19 and xmgrace still failed to start. When it starts it normally puts up an plot window with a set of controls. My X server is working correctly. What could be wrong? How do I find out? How do I fix it? Thanks for your help, Charles Werner -- Dr. Charles L. Werner

Possible over allocation of memory resources by cygwin

nominally requires 450 MB, causes the commit charge to go up to over 2 GB! followed by frantic swapping. Several program seem to suffer similarly, and I have not seen anything like this before. Any thoughts? Could this be related to the latest changes in cygwin? Thanks, Charles -- Dr. Charles L
