When I'm in an editor such as Vim or emacs, or even when I do something that
should copy/cut such as C-k, it will paste it back into Cygwin, but it isn't
put on the actual Windows clipboard to paste outside of Cygwin. Same goes
for copying outside and wanting to paste within.

Is there any way to enable Ruby in Vim on Cygwin? I found something about
enabling Ruby in Vim, but I don't know if it works or not. When I try the
commands mentioned when I read :help ruby, it says they are not enabled.

Not sure if this is an issue with Emacs on Cygwin or not.
I got my issue with emacs hanging and being unresponsive solved, and now am
trying to install ruby-mode.
I'm noticing not all built-in key bindings are working. I'm trying to set a
mark, and read that you use C-@ or C-SPC, but neither
