I noticed some very strange behavior with Ctrl-C. If I
ping a device on the local network I can Ctrl-C with
no problems, yet when I ping an outside device that's
not reachable Ctrl-C doesn't function whatsoever. This
wasn't an issue with 1.5.19-4:
$ ping 192.168.1.1
PING 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1):
Is there a DNS/BIND package available for cygwin?

Is there anyway of telling vi to use UNIX-mode editing
as supposed to DOS-mode? I want to avoid all the
"^M"'s when transferring files from Windows to UNIX,
even though I use dos2unix to remove them, I want to
just simply avoid that step.
Any and all assistence is grately appreciated.

Everytime I try to ftp to a server when I attempt to
type any password a new line magically happens the
moment I touch any key on the keypad. Can someone
assist in fixing this problem? (Cygwin 1.5.13.1).
Thanks.
