Just an observation/bug report:
python3-config --ldflags outputs for 3.8.12:
-L/usr/lib -lpython3.8 -lcrypt -lintl -ldl
which make ld fail with
" cannot find -lintl" (actually I do not even know it its needed)
Fixing this (eg. for automated builds etc) requires libintl-devel as a
depen
