Hey nenad fire up msconfig and limit the CPU's to 1 in your new
rig and see if that makes any difference. If it does then there
is something about dual which is causing it if not you've
eliminated it as the cause and can start lookin

On that advice, I now get a new error:
/home/Scott/downloads/dbus-glib-0.73/dbus/dbus-binding-tool-glib.c:800: undefine
d reference to `_g_file_open_tmp_utf8'

AFAIK this is a 'prescott' Pentium 4 Multithreaded CPU.
There's been a lot of discussion recently about Cygwin and
dual-core/MT-core CPUs. I have one a

Because cfg's mails at the moment have 1 Reply-To- and 2

Everyone elses mail
1) Why does the Reply-To have cygwin 3 times?
2) Is there a program for people addicted to the next?

Yes,
I see some posts about cygwin being a bit slow on core duo processors.
But for me things really are ridiculous.
I recently switched from an HP Compaq laptop (nc6000) with Pentium M 1.6

What's new in 6.15.00-4?
- This version is supposed to solve problems with DOS lineendings when
using tcsh as login shell. A typical problem are broken or hanging
rsync calls with tcsh as (remote) login shell.
