Is there a way to find the amount of RAM from within Cygwin? I tried sysconf(_SC_PHYS_PAGES) but that returns -1. The only other thing that I saw was a post on this list http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin/2001-11/msg00849.html but that never received an answer. Any ideas? Thanks.

It should work in that configuration. You'll need to gve us symbolic debug information for us to help though. Ideally you could build your own debug version of setup.exe, run it under gdb and show the full backtrace from each thread. Cheers, Rob -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#
