Does this mean, re-installing the bootcode isn't necessary anymore - or has the warning been removed by accident/as a side effect of merging with OpenZFS? The code was lost. You still need to ensure your bootcode is up to date. -Ryan

Quick question: When upgrading a zpool, there used to be a message like this: If you boot from pool 'zroot', don't forget to update boot code. Assuming you use GPT partitioning and da0 is your boot disk the following command will do it: gpart bootcode -b /boot/pmbr -p /boot/gptzf
