- at least on my Outlook, turning off Javascript
for the Internet zone turns it off for IE too, which (alas!)
is too restrictive to be practical. I have all the MS security
updates, according to their Office-Update site.

IR != RF.
I'd be very surprised if metal in the room had any amplifying effect
on IR. But not very surprised if IR keyboards were also (unintentional)
RF emitters.

be that one can only advertise "wire-speed" capability if one can
handle a continuous stream of minimum-sized packets, without loss.
Or, at least, only then can one be immune from competitors and reviewers.

Er, and how will these numbers be audited? Given that distorting them
will do no direct and immediate harm to any individual, the temptation
to "adjust" the numbers will be great. Of course nobody in law
enforcement would ever do such a thing ...
