I just subscribed to the list because of this issue - I'm also running
into problems with quantum:
ERROR: Running exception handlers
FATAL: Saving node information to /var/cache/chef/failed-run-data.json
ERROR: Exception handlers complete
FATAL: Stacktrace dumped to /var/cache/chef/che
key 'database_engine:' is undefined.
key 'default:' is undefined.
key 'admin:' is undefined.
I double-checked bc-template-quantum.json and
bc-template-quantum.schema - the keys exist! Do I have to rebuild
anything else?
Or is it necessary to build a complete crowbar
Hi all,
I built a new ISO yesterday as described in [1], using branch
mesa-1.6/openstack-os-build as recommended. The building process ran
through pretty smoothly, but unfortunately, I'm unable to install
Crowbar with it afterwards. It fails to install some Gems.

just a quick hint to whoever uploads new ISOs to [1] - They are not working!
I tried to install Crowbar using the last 3 ISOs, they are all failing with:
./install-chef.sh: line 277: bluepill: command not found
Initial chef run failed
Obviously the bluepill gem install fails in the fir
sure to look into what's going on.

Hi,
I'm trying to build a fresh OpenStack ISO using:
./dev switch pebbles/openstack-os-build
./dev build --os ubuntu-12.04 --update-cache
Unfortunately, it fails:
Download complete and in download only mode
ln: failed to create symbolic link `/mnt/current_os': File exists
Catalog.cab: WARNING; p
Re-synced and installed libxml-ruby gem. After adding
8.07.07_MegaCLI.zip and SAS2IRCU_P16.zip to my home folder the build
process finished without any more errors.
