Hello everyone,
Why can't we use proper forums instead of this outdated list? Forums are easier
to keep track of and search for messages. As a start we can use Yahoo groups.
What do you think?

But what advantages does this list have over a forum? A forum is just this but
better and more user friendly!
Also I have this problem: say I chose not to receive email notifications from
this list, then how do reply to particular messages?

In a forum you can read all the messages at once using your scroll-wheel. You
don't have to click next-message every time. You can also add images and links,
change font type. It would be nice to have a feature where you can easily draw
Go diagrams, just like in sensei wiki.
I have been reading this list for nearly a year now and it is very discouraging
to receive so much criticism for my first post.
The yahoo groups was merely an example to show how easy it is to get a forum
started. I also agree that yahoo appends too much spam to its forums and I am

If Black is the first player then why is he winning so little? If you are not
using komi then Black should win more often then White. If you are using komi
then the percentages should be more or less even, i.e. 50%-50%. Am I missing
something?

Black wins on average by 2 points (without komi). So for these random games a
komi of 2.5 seems reasonable. Can someone also run the same experiments?
