Thank you very much for proposing the Jetty upgrade plan! I’d also like to
share the latest progress on Hadoop's JDK17 upgrade. As of now, the trunk
branch can be successfully compiled with JDK17, though there are still 2-3
critical JIRA issues that need to be addressed, and we are activ

Maintaining Jetty 9.4.x could be quite challenging from a CVE perspec
