Metadata Storage in Namenode

Hi all, I want to know 1.Where does the metadata (regd. blocks of data in datanodes) are stored in namenode in Hadoop? 2.From where does the metadata is loaded into RAM of namenode? Help me in above topics With Regards, B.Yuhendar ---
