I have just purchased a 1985 C&C 33 MK-2 that has a small crack on the port
side of the keel (see picture attached).
The location looks to be lower than the normal Smile crack that develops.
Looking for recommendations on how to repair.
There is no delamination, but I do detect some moisture ar
Does anyone have a Sail Crossover Chart for a 33 MK2.

Having an issue with my throttle cable not staying at RPM above 2,000. It
falls right after I let go. I can set it higher when moving it at the
engine, but not at the helm. How does one adjust the cable on a 1985 C&C
33-2? Or is there a way to oil the cable? PO used a bungee cord to hold
it at
Dave:
I just tried my Emergency Tiller last week before the Hook race.
Did not have to remove wheel or helmsman raised seat.
My wrench is taped to the tiller so it is easy to cut or rip off.
Currently it is stored in the battery compartment, but after thinking about
this I think I will move it to
Ray: I have a 1985 C&C 33-2 in Kenosha with a cradle.
Your free to take any measurements you need to have one made.
I imported the boat & cradle from Toronto this past May.

Barbara,
On our 33 MK2, the cockpit drain lines are cross routed to through hulls
(port/starboard hull beneath cockpit.
This way when the boat is heeled over water can not come up the drain line.

Inexpensive is relative.
I installed a B&G Vulcan Chart Plotter 3 years ago and it is fantastic.
It is truly designed for the sailor. Pulls in all my other wind & boat data
as well.

I want to remove the traveler on a 33MK2 and can't find a way to get at the
bolts in the middle of the boat (both ends are easy)
It is located in the cockpit in front of the companion way. When I look
underneath, it looks completely walled in.
Thanks,

My 1985 33 mk II has water tanks in both the Port & Starbord settees.
Wonder why I have two tanks and others only have one?

This way we can just pump the water out of the ice box into the sink when
needed.
We have two foot pumps: 1) for water from the water tank, 2) Water from ice
box.

I have an "L" shaped removable wood shelf between my engine and the rest of
the cockpit locker.
It fits in nicely, keeps things from entering the engine area. Allows air
to flow as it does not come all the way up.
Allows things to be placed on it.

My CNC is a Shapeoko 3XXL.
I use Vectric Aspire as my main design software. Vectric has a few versions
(Vectric Desktop, Vectric Pro, Vectric Aspire). It is one of the most
versatile options out there, but pricey. I have a laser attachment and use
Lightburn for any laser work.

I have a 33MKII and all my mainsails have a single reef point.
I do have two reefing lines in my boom so I can accommodate a second reef
and am thinking of having one installed.
My questions are:
1. Do other 33MKII have as second reef?
2. Are they beneficial?
3. Where on the m
