Does anyone know of a source for Hillerange parts other than Sure Marine in
Seattle? The oven will light but goes out after a few minutes even with
the thermostat at 500. It will go out even quicker with the thermostat

I have a 1981 C&C with a propane locker on starboard side next to the
helmsman seat. On the port side there is an identical looking locker but
the "lid" does not have any hinges and seems to be glued down. Has anyone
converted this to a second propane locker?
Thanks

My 1981 C&C 34 has a propane locker on the starboard side of the helm seat.
The locker has a hinged lid. On the port side of the helm seat there is a
similar seat but the "lid" does not open. Has anyone opened this up and
utilized the space for storage?
Thanks.

"lid" seems to be glued onto the top of the seat with Sikaflex or similar

Thanks

Maybe if the swaged threaded rod was not corroded in the hole, it is possible
that there could be some movement of the rod when it is not under tension i.e.
the wheel is turned in the opposite direction. The movement in the hole could
possibly damage the threads making adjustment difficult?
