Hello Shawn, On our last boat I had a self-levelling LMN-1 mast mount. It performed well and I liked it. I did not race the boat so not as concerned with possibility of halyards catching between the self-level support and mast although it did happen to me once. On an unrelated occasion I had to

Shawn, On Calypso we have the radar antenna mounted on a stern pole with a Scan Strut adjustable tilt base. On the C&C 36 we owned before the 43 we had a Questus back stay pole with a dampened mount. The dampening is necessary to prevent radar cable wire fractures from repetitive bending. We

Hello Martin, For "Phantom" that would be Escanaba, MI on the bay of Green Bay in Lake Michigan. It was the pride of our harbor, my hometown and yes owned by the Walsh family. She and Catalyst C&C 38, Moon Shell C&C39 were the reasons I bought a C&C when I grew up and finally could afford on

Greg, Thanks for the additional details from when “Calypso” was “Phantom”. It must have been great having 3 classic C&C designs around during the early years of your sailing experience. I know my 5 years (including 2 Seattle/LA/Honolulu/Seattle summers) on a C&C 39 early in my big boat racing
