I also have used Rigging Only for my lifelines, halyards and sheets. Very
satisfied. I just measure several times to make sure before I order.

Thanks Kevin. That's one I saw. Unlike you, I will need some to travel to the
boat since need someone to do some work on the forestay and furling systems.

They do that too I'm pretty sure. I had them do a survey of my rigging and
they came out to me.

Hi all
Thanks for your tips but no luck so far. MassMarine has a couple of
Mk3 rudders on hand so they may be a good starting point. Still hunting
though...

I would recommend Annapolis Rigging. They are experience with Navtec and were
able to test all my rigging after a boat yard incident with another boat (long
story). Their evaluation was acceptable to the insurance company based on
their standing with Navtec.

I too would suggest removing all of the original Plexus. That’s what I did
prior to painting the decks. It cannot be described as either easy or fun but
given the time and money you may be spending, it would be best to get it right
from the git-go.

Agreed — I used a very sharp chisel to carefully get all of the old Plexus off,
then sanded and filled with 3M Marine Filler and sanded some more.

Hello All
Has anyone installed a windlass on a C&C 34? Or something reasonably close.
I no longer have the desire to pull up the anchor by hand and I would
appreciate help from anyone who has done this. Pictures would be really great.
Also, is there any way to search the archives without goi
I have installed windlasses on some various boats, but no C&Cs, if that helps.
Step 1 is a roller with a fair lead to where the windlass will be.

Don I am one dock over from you, I think, and am pondering the same upgrade (or
my back is telling me I should). Let’s see what the responses are. Jim Watt
has some info on how he did the install on his 35’and he’s here in town too.
