possession of our 37/40+ this past Wednesday!
Spent the week going over the systems and doing a bit of sailing in
Mobile Bay.
The heat exchanger on the Universal M-35 is looking quite rough.
The parts manual has the current part
I'd take it to a local radiator shop and see what they think. They might
refurbish it for a lot less than $300.

FWIW, there was no discernable difference between the heat exchanger on the
M35B installed in Imzadi in 2001, and the one on the replacement engine
installed in 2010. It also looks just like the one on the 35HP 4 cylinder
Beta (which is based on the same Kabuto engine).
