The drains in those Beckson opening ports don't work all that well on my 35MKII... hope the slope is better on your 38...the exterior slope on my boat more than counteracts the slope on the port drains so until the residual water at the base of the opening ports dries up I always get a splash, whic

As stated before, I like to follow the manufacturer's recommendation and use Lubriplate 130 AA for MaxProp. It is a grease that works well on bronze parts. The base is the same for Lewmar winch grease. I opened our MaxProp this winter after 7 years on the boat, and found the metal clean, bright
