Hi Rich,
I think the reason for the Lat Long in the "Where to Find Boat" section is
because Stu wants to have a world map showing the location of all C&C's.
He had that before. Using Lat Long makes it much easier. You could
choose to just use the Lat long of the Yacht Club Street Entrance Gate
Hi Ken ,
Since you have been much more successful finding 37/40 boats, can you share a
list of the websites you used?
Most of my boats came from other owners. Then I searched Yachtworld,
Sailboatlistings, and the USCG documentation website and found more, but those
owners were impossible to r
Hi Stu,
If possible, I'd like to see a picture of the boat, boat w owner, or maybe link
to a photo gallery, link to boat's website.
Maybe links between brochures and the boats?

Stu, looks good however I “technically” would have a problem filling out the
owner part. My wife actually owns the boat and I’m the “mate.” And we have
different last names. She’s pretty smart though. I do all the maintenance and
upgrades and she just gets to step onboard and has someone run the

Looks good. Is "City" intended to be the city of residence of the owner?
Will there be a "Homeport" (City & State) field in the boat section? These
two locations are quite often different.
Primary use(s) fields; racing, cruising, daysail (multiselect).
Years owned or purchase date?
Dennis C.
Thanks Harry,
I enjoyed giving it and was pleased to have such a large and knowledgeable
audience. It was a good combination of the old and the new with Mark Mills'
presentation on the new C&Cs following right after.

I agree with not having lat/lon. Just city/state(prov). May want a bit more

Oops, I have the same problem - with additional difficulties. My ex technically
'owns' the boat. It was registered to her when we bought it, as I was not
available to sign the papers, and it is part of our separation agreement (and
it is a pain (and maybe costly) to change registration in Maryla
Hi Gary,
I think someone else mentioned the Lat Long is
handy for a Google map type application. I
suggest if you don't wish a pin on your boat's
exact location then leave blank, put in municipal
dock coordinate or a nearby dumpster, etc. so as
to comply with intent of info request.

Message to Stu,
May I suggest you change "Owner" to "Skipper" and leave "Mate" as is?
I think that should cover off just about everyone
and head off a request for a "Ship's Husband" designation. :)

In my opinion, all these cute or comic names don't work too well!
They may sound good for a day or two after the boat is named, but eventually
they're only good for forum threads like this.
More traditional names don't get mocked on forums and sound Okay on the VHF.
What may seem real smart afte
I know a guy with a C&C called "Wet Dream".
I believe there should be legislation to stop this!
At the least he should forfeit the boat.
