I leave my solar panel hooked up all year and as long as I keep the wet cells
wet I actually get long battery life too. My last batteries lasted 9 years.

I have to agree with Davidmy Group 24 deep cycle batteries have
never left the boat since I bought them in 2009...check the electrolyte
specific gravity and fluid levels in the Fall during layupgive them
a full charge, disconnect all the terminals and they stay on board all
