Yesterday as we were sailing back to the dock one of my crew yelled 'there's a
lot of water down here'. I opened the companionway steps and saw water coming
out of the top of the sea strainer as the water was reaching the top of it.

I just replaced mine about 5 months ago. I luckily ran into an NOS one for
half price at the marina swap meet about 2 years ago. I finally put it in
this year when we re-did my fuel system.

Touche' has one of the Perkos on the engine cooling. However, the strainer
on the air conditioner is a Groco. Like this:
