Thanks for sharing the cost. Hard to put a realistic value on a work of
art, and it should be gorgeous and a real strong and reliable boat for another
generation to come. FYI, I saved about 15% by paying cash for some
work I've had done.

It was bid at 250 hours for the deck and 150 hours for the topsides. Labor in
this part of the universe is $70-90 per hour. As Bill C. pointed out…it’s about

Started the topsides this week.
The good, the bad, and the ugly.
Most of the shear was ground down to the cloth for exploratory inspection.
The existing paint was cracking in a lot of areas. Fortunately it was
mostly only gelcoat cracking. There is one spot that we found wet balsa
core on
!
