I replace the ignition module with one from Sure Marine and it works
perfectly. The module is not an exact replacement, but works fine.
Perhaps, I am anal, but my philosophy is that if something on the boat
doesn't work it should be removed or fixed.

East Greenwich,
Hi Len,
I replaced the battery, battery holder and ground wire and then tested
the voltage at the ignition module when the button was pressed. The
voltage was there, but not the spark. I'm pretty sure it is the module. I
would have much preferred the ground wire since the module is $72 plus
Gary, I was able to repair my igniter. It had a bad ( corroded) ground wire
under the stove at the battery holder. Any chance yours has the same issue? It
was a simple repair a few years ago.
