It seems all new boats, no matter how expensive, come with that same Jabsco toilet. I suspect it's because the Jabsco's are cheap. It is possible to fit a Raritan PHII into a 35, and it's a much better toilet. http://members.shaw.ca/ptarmiganshift/images/IMG_0009.jpg Jim Watts Paradigm Shift C&C

I recently replace the WC Headmate with the JABSCO. I was able to fit in the larger bowl model too. One of the advertised features of the JABSCO purportedly allows the pump handle to be rotated to prevent the backflow from a worn joker valve. The other selling factor for me was the installation of

Thanks, everyone! I ended up picking up a Jabsco joker valve last night and installing that. It was the only option in stock but it seems fine - as far as I can tell, the different manufacturers' 3 inch valves seems to be more or less interchangeable. The old one was noticeably ready for replace

Hi, I have had a C&H Headmate on my 29-1 and I had to rebuild the pump several times. I now have a Jabsco head on my LF38. The quality and functionality is much better. The West Marine head actually looks like a rebranding of the Jabsco head. WM lists the Jabsco head for $209. If you

I'd agree go with the joker valve replacement. It won't be that messy if you pump a gallon or so of water through. Anything that runs back will be mostly water plus a bit of contaminates from the hose walls. On 4/20/2016 9:56 PM, Jake Brodersen via CnC-List wrote: Sam, Perhaps you only nee

Sam, My wholesale marine parts catalog shows parts for a LOT of marine heads. If your old head is Model 1460C Headmate, like this: http://www.downwindmarine.com/Wilcox-Crittenden-Headmate-Toilet-Service-Parts-p-91002266.html Then the complete pump assembly is Part #015461. Parts are supplied b

That's a Jabsco that is probably less from Defender. I installed one on The Office and Atlantis has 2. I need to rebuild one Jabsco. It was cheaper to buy the whole pump assembly than to just buy gaskets. Go figure! Sounds like you need a joker valve which is only about $15 for a Jabsco. No id
