I looked at a few C&C 25 Mk 2's before I bought my Mk 1.
Some of the early C&C 25 Mk 2's had an issue where that arch over the door in
the cabin supports the mast step. I believe there was a recall to reinforce
the area and then at some point in the production run a design change.

I have a 1983 24, not a 25, but it's a solid hull, not sure that an older 25
would be cored, but as always, I could be wrong. Just in case they have similar
construction, I'll mention a couple of things on mine that needed immediate
attention: The deck to hull bolts all the way around were a lit

The ’82 C&C 25 you are looking at would be a Mk2 model.
They have a different deck, keel and cabin layout than the Mk1s.
The deck is cored but not the hull, check for stress cracks around deck
fittings and where the cabin doghouse meets the deck and for
delamination/rotten core ar
