Well I should have asked for a hold back until I was able to do a sea trial.
However I'm not trying to claim the $2000+ that I paid to repair the damage but
get Bridge Yacht to waive the $805 they charged me to prep her (wrap the mast
and remove the pulpit) and load her prior to transportation -
Bridge Yachts of Port Dover, ON is a terrible boat brokerage firm. I would
never recommend them to anyone, and they should not be in the boat brokerage
business after what I just went through. In fact, they should not be in any
business.
I purchased a C&C 33 mark 2 from them earlier this year
It turns out that the violent engine vibration on my 33 mark 2 was due to a
bent propeller shaft and old, worn Gori folding prop both of which I have
changed. Everything runs smoothly now and the problem is completely eliminated.
Thanks for all the advice and recommendations, especially from Bri
Did you check you engine/ shaft alignment? It's a common cause of vibration.

I have just purchased a C&C 33 mark 2 with a 2GMF engine. It has a
clamshell-type folding propeller that, once in gear, is causing significant
vibration above idle speed. What could be causing this?
