I happen to know where there is a C&C 39 for sale in the Great Lakes area.
If you are interested, I can give you details and put you in touch with the
gentleman selling her.
I owned it for eleven years so I do know a bit about the boat.

Hello all,
A couple of days ago while my mast was on saw horses it got into a fight

electronic at least show a fot or something. You may have to zoom in to see
what it is b

Would the butyl tape work on frameless windows that were attached by
screws? What about bolts all the way through to some nice wood trim that
would "clamp" the cabin top sides between the windows and interior trim?

Now you have me worried Joe. My heat is set to 50 also and it has been
very cold. Good news is everything is winterized but since I'm bubbling, I
always worry. One thing to crack a thru hull, another for it to cause the
boat to sink!
Also got a call from a fellow boater in the area of the marin

Ain't much better down here in Detroit. :(

If the yard won't let heaters on, I have found that a incandescent light
hanging in the engine compartment will keep it warm enough. Not sure if
it's any safer than a space heater, but gets around any "no space heaters
left unattended" rule.
