Does anyone know if the 35MK2 were fitted with black water tanks when
manufactured in the mid-70’s?

Steve,
I have a used main that I can donate but I think after hull number 506, C&C
raised the boom by about a foot so my main would be short for your hull. I'm
assuming you have already talked to gary at Bacon Sails. I recall they had
sails for my 30-1 but that's years ago...

I recently picked up a C&C 30 MK1 (1973) that had four head sails, but no
main. I'm new to this whole sailing thing , so trying to learn on the fly.
The specs call for a 34' luff and a 11' 6" foot. I've looked at all of the
used sail lofts I could find, but nothing in the right sizes. Does anybo
Hi Charlie,
I'm no expert, but I have replaced my lifelines with dyneema and several other
running rigging things. I made a short strop to raise the mainsheet purchase
up off the traveller car and recently changed the wire in my solid vang to
dyneema. I like dyneema because it's so easy to sp
Most Truck Part places have engine shut off cables...I picked one up from parts for trucks in Halifax. It has a red knob labeled "engine off" and a cable long enough for most applicationsyou can cut the cable down for an exact fit. Under 30 bucks.

I'm taking possesion of my first C&C July 18 & wanting to add a holding tank
for the marine head.
I found a picture of a MKII with holding tank which I'm attaching for
reference. Can anyone help with dimensions, Fore-Aft length, Port-Starboard

Hi Ron,
Just out of curiosity, do you have to take a PHRF adjustment for that? The PHRF
rules in my RSA say “The Base PHRF Rating will assume: … The yacht is as
manufactured with its interior as designed by the manufacturer intact.”

It is time for me to replace my centerboard pennant--now 6 years old.
The yard likes to go with stainless steel wire, which is the same as the
original pennant delivered with the boat when new in 1995.
I am considering using an equivalent or stronger dyneema line but have a few
questions fo

Update:
Thanks Tom S for the response on this. Apparently garhauer's "old style"
deck organizer has the same sheave spacing as the unit used by C&C.
Tom's invoice reads:
