It needs to have the cellular capability. That incorporates the gps. I don't
think you need to activate a cellular data plan for the gps to work.

Greetings listers,
I have an opportunity to buy a used ipad from my niece.
In order to use it eventually for navigation if I get my boat moved to Lake
Michigan, which one do I need? I believe from some previous emails, I heard it

Stevan,
I'm not sure you need a customs broker. I've brought my last 2 boats back
from the US without a broker and it's not a difficult process. (I also
have brought a couple of cars back from the US, too)
One was on her own bottom and one on a trailer. Clearing by water is a
piece of cake.
Dwight, I think what you are saying is that the deck intake doesn't match
the outflow location down below, which is normal for dorades; that's how
they separate the water from the air. You can get a surface-mount dorade
from Nicro that will let you keep that configuration, but if you want to

Great, impressive place! But, but - where was your boat, and where
were the pretty girls at the pool. Too many white guys with drinks,
waiting to hug a drone? Winter?

And what isn't cool about needing a courtesy flag for Bermuda and Q flag?
Perhaps not the flags but what they imply?

Yeah, totally cool. I've been watching these and lusting after one of those
DJI Phantoms, super cool.
Nothing nearly as cool as this though:

Fred,
Thanks for the clarification. I realize that the two are completely different

Brent,
I paid $3k (US) for moving a boat (27’) from Missouri to Ottawa (around
2000km). But I know it was quite reasonable. Other quotes were anywhere from
$5k to $12k.

Is it important that the hole in the deck lines up with the hole in the
cabin liner?
On my MKII it seems like the hole in the deck is forward of the circular
pattern of ¼ inch holes in the cabin liner below and that worked OK with the
dorade box and it works with the mushroom
