Is it possible that to use kwallet to store and manage the
key/passphrase for a ssh?

You are correct, it needs to be a KDE application to use kwallet.
Luckily, SSH has its own methods to accomplish the same thing. You can
authenticate with a certificate instead of a password.

And kterm, tho a kde application does directly call and use bash, so no you
cant use the kwallet to feed it the username and password. your best bet is to
use public/private key pairs.

Thought I would ask some thoughts about how to go about the following.
I have recently built a fresh CentOS server install that I intend to
