I am wondering if there is any programs to help with filling out
income tax that I can use with Linux. It doesn't have to be
compatible with Netfile. Something for personal tax.

I forgot to mention to check your switches. I have a multitude of them
here and my managed one had the maximum frame size limited to 1518. Other
switches may call this feature Jumbo Frames or something similar. A lot of
cheap desktop switches do not even support this.

When I used to do my own taxes, I used H&R Block online. I found it to be
marginally better than Quicktax.

I have used the online version of quicktax for the past two years. It
worked fine on Ubuntu.
Before that, I used the Windows desktop version, and I was able to transfer
my saved info from that to the online one easily. (It's barely useful to do
this, but I thought I would mention it anyway.)
