Just to clarify - the mail server seemed to send the messages out of
order. It's unusual, but does happen sometimes. Which is why it's good
to cite at the very least the person who sent a particular email ;-) (I
was confused at first as well).
See you all at tonight's meeting! :-)

Someone asked if parking ban was still on and might infer with parking for the
meeting.
I forwarded a copy of the City's official "snow ban ended" notice.
This was relevant to the CLUG meeting in answering concerns expressed.
How that qualifies as "Calgary politics" and not relevant to
the CLUG

OK so maybe the posting was a bit much, off-topic a bit (follo
I second William's motion. I've seriously considered (after more than 10
years) just unsubscribing from this list.
Everything I am *not* interested in, nor is relevant ... seems to dominate

I'd like to point out that this is not the "Calgary Politics" list. As
such, a rant such as the one I have not duplicated here is off topic. I

Many people on my street got tickets as well... not me. THere is no reason for
my street (Brentwood Blvd) to be a snow route. We are not a feeder and there
is Crowchild Trail, Brentwood Road and Northmount drive available - each within
400 meters.
Next like you I did not know its a snow rout
May want to double check on city website - l believe the ban is off. (I looked
this morning because I got a ticket yesterday for being on a snow route. There
were no signs on my block but it appears I am indeed on a snow route.)

Be aware that if the 'Snow Event' is still active there may be parking
restrictions on some streets.

We are still on for the meeting. Bit more of an update:
I was not far enough along with my research to give my talk by tomorrow.
For those who can make out the meeting should be interesting enough.
