IIRC horizon uses CN for login rather than UID, and
https://tools.wmflabs.org/openstack-browser/user/dhun suggests the CN
is Dirk Hünniger. dhun is just the UID.

change your cn and sn to remove the umlaut (maybe you could even change it
yourself). That said, I would very much prefer the Horizon bug to be fixed,

Maybe someone from the WMCS team should check around this issue for a
solution. As for opening and transferring an account, it is your choice.
