in my lein repl,
(sort-by #{:age} [{:age 3,:name "luo"},{:age 1,:name "sheng"}])
returns
({:age 3, :name "luo"} {:age 1, :name "sheng"})
rather than
({:age 1, :name "sheng"}, {:age 3, :name "luo"}).
Why?
