1)I compiled the last snapshot under Solaris 8 and get a lot of warnings
- see below. Are these warnings the same for other operating systems?
-Are these warnings serious
The increase number of warnings started with the 20030930 snapshot. It
is also boring for me that I have always to add -lre
Found the problem - had to configure gmp with ABI=32 !!!
Is this what you want to see??

It seems to me there are problems with the snapshots on the website
(http://clamav.sourceforge.net/snapshot/). The latest snapshots are only
1k big

I have the impression that the new databases are not updated e.g. on
http://clamav.sourceforge.net/database/. Is there a reason for that? I
run already clamd with the new virus database formats (20031026
snapshot) and rely on the updates.

You are running a very old version of clamav!!! I run the 20031026
snapshot on Solaris 8 and clamav-milter never died up to now. From time
to time clamd stops (maybe every 4 days) but I restart it with a cron
job.
