Feel free to use OpenCSW packages, we have ClamAV 0.95 for Solaris
8/9/10 on x86/sparc.

Hi All,
I've been having a few instances of the above getting flagged as a
virus. Worryingly it is also flagging some of the automatic virus
detected emails that mailscanner sends out. Does anyone know why it is
kicking in?

Hello,
for a long time i use the combination proftpd --> mod_clamav --> clamav
Now i have a problem with current 0.95
mod_clamav talks to clamd using tcpsocket port 3310
part of my proftpd.conf:
ClamAV on
ClamServer 127.0.0.1
ClamPort 3310
clamav is listening

Thanks, Yes I have downloaded a pkg and have that as an alternative. But I am
still trying to figure out why it won't build from source. I suspect it might
be the presence of older clamav lib files ?? eg I have a ver installed
already.. not sure ?

Hi,i noticed i have to update to 0.95 by security issuses
but i dont wanna change milters on many mailsservers if not needed.
Is there a chance using old clamav-milter setups ( i. with commandline
options ) and clamd 0.95. ( guess i read so in the list )
If yes are there any online faqs about it?

Yes, it appears this might be the culprit!
Text relocation remains referenced
against symbol offset in file
0x1 /usr/local/lib/libbz2.a(bzlib.o)
Well install of latest bzip2 package did not remedy the build error
Is it possible that the presence of older clamAV libraries in
/usr/local/lib is causing the error?
eg... Do I want to stop and remove the existing ClamAV version before
attempting a build of the newer version ? which I assume

It looks like the linker is finding a lot of old libraries. I remove them
before
building but
Obviously, in order to start clamav-milter v0.95 one would have to
know that the only command line option or argument is for the config
file location, or maybe to get the version or some rudimentary help.
One with a fair level of discernment might reason that I must be
looking for the "Optio
