not completely clear for me what this was. Can I be sure this is a false
positive? Should I submit it?

No, pagefile.sys should be excluded from scanning.

Did anyone else get this? I am hoping it is just a false positive.
There didn't seem to be anything special in the header info (pasted
below the message) and since I have my system set to delete all viruses
I cannot get much more information about it.

I did install it properly as there isn't much to do wrong, when
downloading the NSIS-based installer and just click "OK" everywhere.

You have "ClamAV devel-20050725" build and packaged from www.sosdg.org, so you
have a package that includes _some_ Cygwin DLL (version?
