Rather than see a flame session erupt, if it's GUI you want, look into
Webmin, web based administration. There is a ClamAV module for it. I
have no idea how well it works:

But you should really understand how your system
You can try KlamAV, an attempt to package ClamAV for KDE users. Go to:

Good luck.

seems promising, from the description.
Haven't tried it though,
I think users love GUI more than console.
not all, but I get you
Ryan,
Thanks. Missed that one. Amavis was showing up the threads even without the m arg to
ps but clam wasn't.
Now I just need to find out why amavis stalls on large files and blocks up the mail
queue from being processed but that's not a question for this list.

Hi!
I have installed and running Clamav 0.75.1 on Rh8 box. The problem is that
I don't have init script for clamd nor for clamav-milter.
Is there something in the "configure" to add to create those scripts?
Can someone send those to me by email. please?

But then again, one might argue that clamav 0.xx is a PRE-RELEASED
software anyway :)

I have corrected a bug were some Exploits and Worms were not reported.
For smtp support you will need to define your smtp server and email address in the
perl script.
You will also need "LogSyslog" enabled in your clamav.conf for Milter logging.
Options:
-h Help
-f Log file
-l Log type - valid
