Hi
Clam should be detecting Netsky.P as Somefool.P (crazy virus alias
stuff). The definition has been in the db for months so it looks like
you have a configuration issue. Is the infected file buried in a zip or
similar?

Hi.
I've installed clamav 0.72 on our new shiny SunFire 880 running
Solaris 9, but for some reason it gives a Bus Error when trying to
read zip files.
clamav is compiled using /opt/SUNWspro/bin/cc as a compiler, libz is
the standard that Sun provides (1.1.4).
Some debug output:

I have been running clamav 0.70 from qmail-scanner-queue.pl for some
months now. This is on a Fedora Core 1 server. This week I got the
latest 0.72 version from Petr's crash-hat site using yum. I kept my
original clamav.conf file, and after the update, freshclam started OK,
as well as clamd.

After running clamd V0.72 with no problems since Jun 4, today the process is
dying after 10-30 minutes.
Solaris 8, Ultra sparc hardware, gcc 3.4.0, clamav-milter also runing w/

Nothing logged at that time, no core file found

Yea, doh. Is the DNS supposed to return a RR based on your location? I
was under the impression that no, it wouldn't and you can choose to use
the regional zones if you so desire,

Would you still like to have it sent to someone somewhere? I'll even
mail a CD if you like.

Actually, for database.clamav.net, the answer is yes.
Or to be specific, based on your IP address.

If a .tgz is created from CVS without any modifications then it's normal.
Not much to worry about really..
