Hi thanks a lot for the reply.
I thought it was somekind of zip bomb but I'm not sure how to determine that
is the root cause of the problem and if so how to handle it.
I'm running clamav-65 it might be a bug in the clamav itself!.

Do you have the ScanMail option enabled in clamav.conf ? If so, try
removing it.

I use clamd/clamc via amavisd-new. I have a email alias setup to deliver all
clamd reports to a perl script.
This script counts all the virus's detected and outputs a nice colour graph. Check it
